About the QA & Technical Assistant job

The purpose of your role will be to actively engage in the daily implementation of the Quality System.

Key tasks

Ensure accuracy and completeness of the internal Food Safety Quality System, Quality Assurance Records, and compliance with HACCP and BRCGS standards.
Complete product specifications, nutritional analysis, and labelling updates; operate traceability controls for incoming materials and maintain records like approved supplier lists and allergen separation procedures.
Conduct housekeeping, hygiene audits, and ensure micro and environmental samples are submitted as scheduled, maintaining compliance with internal quality management systems.
Investigate complaints, document corrective actions for non-conformities, and ensure the maintenance schedule is followed.

About You

The successful candidate shall possess a food science or food safety degree.
Must have experience of working in a food safety role.
Ideally trained in legal food labelling, food safety, HACCP.

The QA & Technical Assistant job (ref:8849) is based in Bradford, West Yorkshire and is paying up to £26,000 per annum according to your experience.

The package includes 28 days holiday which includes bank holidays and a standard pension.

The site is commutable from Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield, Shipley and Bingley.

The working hours are 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with the option of working up to 2 days a week home after a successful probation period.
